Meadow House

The Meadow House sits in a Sea Ranch field that blooms purple with heather each spring. To conjure the springtime feeling year round, we anchored the interior palette with a custom color purple rug in the living room. We then brought in superbly crafted but simple furnishings to keep the focus on views of wind-whipped coastal meadowlands outside the floor-to-ceiling windows. Throughout the house, we incorporated locally sourced natural materials, including a bespoke extendable dining table. Made from salvaged redwood, the table’s logs date back to the 1800s and were recovered from a deep river bed, where the tides imprinted their mark.
